LED Bulbs Available 24/7 at Convenient Store
POSCO LED bulbs hit the shelves of a convenient store chain for the first time in the industry.
Don’t get frustrated at a light bulb burned out in the middle of the night even if your home is far away from a superstore.
You can buy an LED bulb anytime at any CU convenience store near you.
POSCO LED, a global LED lighting solution provider, announced on February 28 that it began to sell its LED light bulbs at convenience stores of CU, the largest convenience store chain in Korea, for the first time in the industry. To date, LED light bulbs have been available at superstores or specialty stores. With the launch at CU stores, consumers can easily buy LED bubs anytime anywhere.
The LED bulbs hitting the shelves of CU are POSCO LED 7W LED light bulb, an eco-friendly and highly efficient product that can replace the conventional 40W incandescent lamp while reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions by approximately 82%. Also, their lifespan is forty times as long as the existing light bulbs, cutting the maintenance cost dramatically. They are also a good choice to protect eyesight as they do not emit harmful wavelengths including ultraviolet light, preventing eye fatigue and skin damage. And, they do not flicker while maintaining the same level of brightness.
POSCO LED said, “Our products offer outstanding performance and quality at a reasonable price range, topping the sales at Emart, HomePlus and Lotte Mart. Backed by this popularity, we decided to launch our products at convenience stores for the first time in the industry, expanding our point of contact with consumers. We will continue to make effort to improve the LED lighting technology in order to help consumers to experience more benefits of LED lighting including less energy consumption.”
